Shard Chain
About Shard Chain
Shard Chain is a proof of stake EVM-Compatible blockchain with native yield for native token. The native token of Shard Chain is $cSHARD.
Shard Chain yield comes from trading fee and mining revenue. The yield from these decentralized protocols is passed back to Shard Chain users automatically.
How Shard Chain works
Auto Rebasing
$cSHARD itself, is natively rebasing on the Shard Chain. The $cSHARDbalance for EOAs is automatically rebasing. Smart contracts can opt-in to this rebasing, making it easy to existing Dapps to deploy on Shard Chainwithout any changes.
Users who bridge $SHARD will receive $cSHARD. The yield for $cSHARD comes from Shard AI's revenue. $cSHARD can be redeemed for $SHARD and WETH when bridging back to Ethereum.
Decentralized Finance
DeFi, or decentralized finance, is a collective term for decentralized financial products and services on the blockchain, such as lending or borrowing.
Simply put, DeFi is when the world of finance meets blockchain technology — you can make transactions and settle trades all via software.
DeFi is the next evolution in finance and provides superior benefits compared to traditional systems:
DeFi is powered by decentralized, transparent code and grants users full ownership over their assets.
Secured by cryptography, DeFi reduces the risks of human error and centralized server breaches.
With smart contracts, developers are free to create complex financial products to match any requirement.
Unlike the stock market, DeFi remains operational 24/7 and provides global access to financial services, even for those without banking access.
By virtue of being decentralized, DeFi is unaffected by the limitations imposed by governments worldwide and ensures user assets remain free from intrusions.
We aim to build distinct DeFi products on Shard Chain:
Millions of transactions.
Low cost and finalize within a second.
Provides access to funding with grants and Gas Monetization.
